WHAT IS THE MODEL OF "TRANSFORMATIONAL PRAYER"?
From the moment we make the decision to follow our Lord, He makes us a new creature. Our identity changes and we have power and authority in the name of our Lord. Sadly, many times as believers we do not live in this new identity because our past continues to have a great impact on our present (many times unconsciously). This conditions us and does not allow us to live in the freedom to which our Lord has called us.
Transformational Prayer consists of being able to be present to the Lord so that He reveals to us what is keeping us from living in His freedom.
Dysfunctional behaviors such as work addiction, the need to control everything, sexual addictions, alcohol, drugs, the need to please everyone, a tendency to blame others, the desire to flee, the need to hide... are the result of something much deeper and needs the healing touch of our Lord.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
For believers who want to continue investing in their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. The teaching part of each session will be done jointly. For the spiritual part, we will break into small groups separating men and women and those who are ministry leaders from believers who are not in ministry.
One of the fundamental principles in this retreat is confidentiality and respect. We believe that it is essential that no one feels forced to explain anything they do not want to. At the same time, the participants will have spaces alone to be able to talk with their group leader if they wish.
WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?
The SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION program consists of 14 sessions. Each session is made up of a teaching part where topics such as dysfunctional behaviors, emotional disorders, false beliefs or lies, traumas and injuries from the past are dealt with from a biblical and psychological basis. The second part of each session is where, through the Word of God, prayer, His creation and different spiritual disciplines, the participants can deepen their intimacy with the Lord. This is essential in order for the Holy Spirit to reveal what he wants to show each participant.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM?
This program comes in two versions; a one week intensive retreat or over a period of 14 weeks with one session a week.
